Can a credit score recover after a bankruptcy? I've heard horror stories about defaults on debts and bankruptcies ruining credit score and reliability of the borrower. Is it possible to recover completely from a bankruptcy and how would you go about this? About how long does it take to get a decent credit score after something like this?

Credit is built and repaired over time. To build some credit you need to responsibly borrow starting from small amounts. You could set up a debt secured card from your local bank and be on time with payments, this can build credit score quickly and help you borrow at a lower rate. There's a lot more to it, but hope that helps.
