When do you think treasury yields will recover? Right now they are fairly low, especially this past month. Will treasury yields come back or will they stay the same? October could bring yields up after the rough September for Treasuries. Tax-free municipal bonds and Treasury bonds are generally for investors with money who want income. Municipal bonds offer interest that is exempt from federal income taxes, while U.S. Treasury bonds are the safest long term debt issues in the world. Whether either are good investments for you all depends on the circumstances.

On the back of improving US economic data, equities have rallied off of autumn lows, and yet US Treasury yields have continued to surf bottom with the 10-year note trading below 2% for the first time on record.
